doubt the evidence and trust his or her gut, even when everyone else says you’re wrong.
Sometimes that instinct is the only thing that stands in the way of a terrible injustice.
Going through a personal journey that could have ended far worse than it did gave David the
idea for this book. Using his creativity and his own experiences—as well as those of numerous
friends—allowed him to lead the reader down an unexpected path. The reader will question his
or her own thought processes before ultimately landing on a surprising finish. The story also will
illustrate the need for each of us to step up and serve others.
